Alright Draw Night is a artist-run nonprofit arts organization dedicated to making live figure drawing accessible to the San Antonio community. Since 2015, we have hosted monthly sessions that welcome artists of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Alright DrawNite creates a welcoming, comfortable and educational
space for the San Antonio community to sketch and draw, with an emphasis on the human
figure. We draw from life. We draw together!
Frequently Asked Questions
- What should I bring? Bring a drawing board/sketchpad or iPad and a drawing weapon of choice (pen, pencil, marker, ink, and more)! Non-oil paints, small tables and easels are welcome. Limited supplies of paper and drawing materials are available to borrow, with thanks to our friends at Herweck’s Art Supply.
- Can I consume alcohol? Each venue varies: please check your ticket details and social media posts for specifics.
- Can I take reference photos? No photography of models is permitted. For model comfort, phones must remain tucked away during each drawing session. Photos may be taken of artwork and shared at the end of each session — don’t forget to tag @alrightdrawnite !
- What can I expect at “Last Tuesday”? Figure Drawing, featuring two unclothed models, 30+ poses. Typically, the venue opens by 6 PM; arrive early to choose a spot, and enjoy the jams provided by a live DJ. On special occasions, enjoy a brief artist talk, holiday treat and/or snacks. First model at 6:30 PM; second model at 8 PM. Each model begins with a series of warmup and quick poses, working up to a 15-20 minute pose. Seating and limited tables provided. Bring your art gear!
